Animal Finders is named in Pet Industry Awards 2010

Yes, it's true! Animal Finders has been named as a finalist in the Pet Care Trade Association's Pet Industry Awards 2010.

The Awards celebrate the endeavour and dedication of outstanding individuals and businesses in the pet industry and the winners will be revealed at a black tie gala on Sunday, 19 September at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel in Birmingham.

"I'm delighted and very proud that we've been shortlisted for these awards" said Nick Carpenter. "I see this as recognition by the industry that we are actually making a difference to people's lives and that our approach to the problem of lost and found pets is breaking new ground."

To win the award, we'll  be judged against two much larger organisations - Burgess Pet Care, part of Burgess Group Plc; and Nurtured Pets, a brand of multinational corporation Lauren International.

“We have been incredibly impressed with the quality and sheer quantity of entries” said Janet Nunn, Chief Executiveof the Pet Care Trade Association. “The competition is really strong this year so it is now over to our expert judging panels to decide upon the winner of each category. To be a finalist is a massive achievement, so well done to all those companies who are through to the shortlist!”
